Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed confidence in the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, urging support for his second term to sustain ongoing reforms and national development.
Fubara made this known on Thursday while inaugurating the meeting of the Southern Traditional Rulers Council in Port Harcourt, where monarchs from the 17 southern states gathered to discuss unity, security, and economic growth.
He noted that the current administration is recording measurable progress in economic recovery and infrastructure delivery, including key coastal road projects, despite prevailing challenges. The governor emphasized the need for leadership continuity, stating that changing direction midway could disrupt progress.
Fubara also called on stakeholders across the South to remain united in pursuit of common goals, stressing that regional cooperation is vital for sustainable development. He added that the convergence of traditional rulers highlights Rivers State’s peaceful environment and its capacity to host major national events.
