The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has announced the release of the final list of aspirants cleared for the House of Representatives primary election scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
In a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chibike Ikenga, the party said the final list was released by the national leadership of the APC ahead of the primary election.
The statement urged all aspirants to take note of the development and comply with the guidelines and decisions contained in the released list.
According to the party, the information should be treated with seriousness in view of the scheduled primary election.
The APC also stated that the list contains the names of aspirants who were either cleared or not cleared to participate in the exercise.
Ikenga thanked party members and aspirants for their understanding and cooperation ahead of the primary election.
