Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has said that his administration is competing with the Federal Government in awarding of contracts.
Wike, disclosed this during the commissioning of the Rumuola flyover this afternoon by Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, Former Governor of Ondo State.
He said the Federal Government uses Julius berger, for construction and the state government uses Julius Berger as well.
He urged Rivers people to pray for him to have a successor who will perform better.
“Pray for us to have a successor who will do better than us; someone who will put the interest of Rivers State first,” he said.
He also assured that his administration will complete all on going project before the expiration of his tenure.
