Wanted gang leader, David Joseph popularly known as General Kumasi, has reportedly been shot dead by soldiers.
Sources say he died of injuries sustained from gunshots on Thursday.
Kumasi, was few months ago declared wanted by the Rivers State Government over alleged criminal activities.
The deceased had in a statement denied all the accusations, accusing politicians he had worked for of trying to bring him down due to his 2023 ambition.
The Nigerian Army is yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
