A judgement to determine if members of the Chief Emeka Beke-led executives of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, will participate in Saturday’s National convention of the party, is to be delivered on Thursday March 24, 2022 by a Rivers State High Court, in Port Harcourt.
One Alabibo Soibibo and Ogechi Edwin are seeking for an interlocutory injuction against the APC and it’s former Caretaker Committee Chairman, Issac Ogbobula over the conduct of congresses in Rivers State.
They are praying the court to stop the state chapter from participating in the Congress, because they allegedly refused to allow them access to nomination forms after making payments.
The Presiding Judge, Justice C.N Wali will deliver judgement on Thursday.
A fresh Congress may be conducted in the state, depending on the judgement of the court.
