The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has warned Nigerians against a fake online recruitment notice claiming that the Commission has commenced the recruitment and training of ad-hoc staff for the 2027 General Election.
INEC said the message circulating online and the recruitment link attached to it did not originate from the Commission.
The electoral body urged members of the public not to click on the link, submit personal information, upload documents or make payments through the purported recruitment platform.
INEC said genuine recruitment and election-related announcements would only be published through its verified communication channels and official website.
The Commission advised Nigerians to visit its official website, www.inecnigeria.org, for authentic information and to disregard the fake recruitment notice.
INEC urged the public to stay alert, verify information and avoid falling victim to fraudulent online platforms.
