Father of two children that were crushed by a trailer, at the Mile 1 flyover in Port Harcourt, Gift David has said that he needs a plot of land to bury his children, Promise David and God’swill David and the sum of N30 million as compensation.
Mr David in a statement yesterday, said owners of the trailer were yet to respond to demands of the family to enable him bury his children.
According to him, he no longer wants his children to be kept in the mortuary, as they are too young to be there.
He stated that owners of the truck have promised to compensate him with N500,000, which he rejected.
Mr David also said the lawyers have been threatening him to either collect the money or forget it.
He called on the state government and Civil Society Organizations to wade into the matter for justice to prevail.
