Hours after meeting with Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar in Abuja, the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party is in a meeting with Governor, Nyesom Wike to find a lasting solution to the problems rocking the party.
The meeting is currently holding in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The BoT had also met with Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Vice Presidential candidate of the party.
Gov. Wike is currently having a running battle with Atiku Abubakar over Iyorchia Ayu’s continuous stay in office as National Chairman of the party.
He said there was an agreement that Ayu would resign as Chairman if Atiku emerged the party’s flagbearer.
