The Rivers State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Engr. Dr. Chukwudi Dimkpa, has expressed deep appreciation for the widespread support and goodwill he has received from across the state and beyond political affiliations.
In a statement, Dimkpa said he was humbled by the outpouring of congratulatory messages, prayers, and encouragement, noting that such a show of confidence would not be taken for granted.
He emphasized that the moment goes beyond personal recognition, describing it as a collective movement aimed at building a better, stronger, and more inclusive Rivers State. According to him, the growing enthusiasm among residents reflects a shared belief that meaningful change in the state is achievable.
The ADC chairman reaffirmed his commitment to working with stakeholders at all levels, including communities, wards, and local government areas, to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and promote unity. He added that efforts would be geared towards creating an inclusive platform where every voice is heard.
Dimkpa also called on residents of Rivers State, particularly youths, women, and professionals, to actively participate in the movement by joining the party. He noted that registration into the ADC is ongoing and accessible online.
He urged citizens to rise above divisions and work collectively towards a future anchored on justice, opportunity, and shared prosperity.
“This is your party, your platform, and our moment. It is time to arise and shine,” he said.
