The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, RIVCSO, will today, Wednesday, June 12 hold what it described as “hunger protest”
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
According to him, the protest will begin from Pleasure Park in Port Harcourt at 10am, adding that the essence of the protest is to express their anger against the current hunger in the nation.
“#HungerProtest We Will Be Protesting On The 12th Of June,2024 By 10am From @Pleasure Park To Express Our Anger Against The Current Hunger In Nija,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Police had warned against unlawful protests and gatherings across the nation Today.
