The delegation, headed by the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, conveyed the President’s commitment to improving security in the affected communities. He stated that requests for the establishment of a military base in the area would be forwarded to President Tinubu for consideration.
Gbajabiamila further revealed that the President had directed a specialized security team with advanced rescue capabilities to intensify efforts to secure the release of the abducted pupils and teachers.
According to him, President Tinubu is deeply concerned about the incident and has instructed security agencies to deploy all necessary resources to ensure the victims are rescued safely.
