The King of Ikuru town in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, HRM Aarom Ikuru, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
According to reports, the monarch was abducted at his residence on Sunday night.
The King’s spokesperson, Maurice Ikuru, made this known in a chat with Journalists today. He said the incident occurred at about 9:00 PM, on Sunday.
Spokesperson of the State police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, in a statement confirmed that some persons who were coming back from Andoni, were kidnapped on Sunday.
Omoni who stated that he was yet to get the identities of those abducted, said investigation is currently on-going.
