The Rivers State Police Command has called on the public to take advantage of the bounty placed on the alleged killer of SP Angbashim and provide information that will lead to his arrest.
The state Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi said this in a statement at the Force headquarters in Port Harcourt Today.
According to him, the hoodlums had lied about needing ammnesty only to lure the officers to the forest and ambushed them.
He stated that the command will not be demoralized by the incident as they are on course to rid the state of crime and criminaly.
Nwonyi also said the command will not rest until perpetrators of the act are brought to justice.
He commended Gov. Sim Fubara for actions taken to ensure that the suspects are arrested.
