The management of Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has announced the re-opening of its registration portal for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise to accommodate candidates who participated in the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Mop-Up examination.
In a notice signed by the Acting Registrar, Dr. Idanyingi I. Daminabo, the university said the decision followed the release of the data of the 2026 Mop-Up examination candidates by JAMB.
According to the university, the registration portal will reopen on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, while registration will close on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Eligible candidates have been advised to complete their registration online through the university’s official admission portal at https://apply.rsu.edu.ng using a debit card to make the required payment within the stipulated period.
The university also urged applicants to ensure that all required documents are uploaded correctly and to regularly check the admission portal for updates on screening schedules and other relevant instructions.
RSU noted that all other guidelines and requirements for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise remain unchanged.
The management encouraged all eligible Mop-Up candidates to take advantage of the opportunity by completing their registration before the deadline and wished all applicants success in the admission process.
