The Rivers State Taskforce on Street Trading and Illegal Motor Parks says it would resume duties Today, Monday 22 May after a three months hiatus.
Chairman of the state taskforce, DSP Feli, Nwadibeyi made this known in a statement at the weekend.
According to him, the break was due to management issues which have been resolved, and had nothing to do with the death of a driver at the Rumuokoro axis of Port Harcourt.
He also warned street traders and those operating illegal motor parks to leave the road as drastic measures would be taken against defaulters.
Nwadibeyi debunked claims that members of the Force are being owed, and urged residents to reach out to him to report misconduct by any member of the team.
