The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the recent killings in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the state, describing the incident as a setback to the relative peace previously enjoyed in the community.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Blessing Agabe condemned the attack and assured residents that investigations were underway to identify and arrest those responsible.
The police spokesperson also appealed to residents to remain calm and refrain from taking the law into their own hands, assuring them that the command was on top of the situation and committed to ensuring justice for the victims.
