Five suspected kidnappers and cultists have been apprehended by the Rivers State Police Command.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed this in a statement Today.
According to her, the suspects were arrested following the disappearance of four staff members of a real estate company during a routine property inspection in Okocha Community, Igbo-Etche, Etche Local Government Area, in January 2024.
She named the suspects as Aliyu Usman, Sule Abubakar, Abdullahi Adamu and Mallam Yahaya. She said an investigation revealed that the suspects are part of a criminal network operating under the guise of herders and have been involved in a series of kidnappings across Rivers, Edo and Delta states.
