The Rivers State Civil Service Commission has announced the timetable for its 2025/2026 promotion interview exercise, marking a significant step toward the promotion of qualified civil servants across the state.
According to the schedule, the interviews will be conducted between June 15 and June 26 at the Commission’s Conference Hall in Port Harcourt, where eligible officers from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) will be assessed for advancement.
In a circular issued by the Commission’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. James Enebeli, all MDAs were instructed to comply strictly with the approved timetable. The Commission also advised participating officers to arrive on time and ensure they are adequately prepared for the exercise.
The circular was distributed to top government officials, including the Chief of Staff, Secretary to the State Government, Head of Service, Clerk of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Permanent Secretaries, and heads of government agencies.
