One person was reported killed and scores injured after Police and supporters of the All Progressives Congress, clashed during a protest at the party’s Secretariat in Port Harcourt, today.
An eyewitness, made this known in a post on Facebook shortly after the incident.
According to him, there was sporadic shooting in the area, as Police tried to disperse the protesters.
It was gathered that the protest was by aggrieved members of the party, who accused the party leadership of hijacking the LGA and Ward congresses.
However, the party said it was yet to ascertain what caused the protest.
The Police is yet to react to the incident.
