Labour Pary Presidential candidate, Peter Obi has alleged that he won more than 50 percent in the just concluded presidential election in Rivers State.
Obi, who said this when he appeared on Arise TV morning show on Monday, alleged that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike worked aganst him in the election.
He also dismissed claims that he got votes from Lagos because of the Igbos that live in Lagos, noting that he got more votes from the indigenous people in Lagos than those “you call visitors.”
“Some people said he got votes in Lagos because of Igbos. How many Igbos live in Lagos? I got more votes from indigenous people in Lagos than those you can call visitors. Is it Igbos who voted for me in Nasarawa, Plateau and Abuja? In Rivers where you know that the governor came out against me in everything if the real votes in Rivers were counted, I won more than 50% in the State,” he said.
