Residents of Port Harcourt are set to benefit from a four-day free medical outreach organised by the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area.
The outreach, scheduled to hold from April 21 to April 24, will take place at the Port Harcourt City Council premises along Moscow Road, with activities commencing daily at 10 a.m.
According to the organisers, the programme will provide a wide range of healthcare services, including general medical services, dental care, surgical care, medical counselling, rehabilitation services, laboratory tests, drug administration, and ophthalmology (eye care).
The initiative is aimed at improving access to essential healthcare services and addressing the medical needs of residents within the local government area.
However, individuals requiring eye surgeries and other surgical procedures have been advised to visit the Port Harcourt City Council’s Primary Health Care Authority on Monday, April 20, for preliminary check-ups and examinations ahead of the outreach.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free medical services.
