Following the Federal Government’s announcement that the Rivers State Governor, Nzenwo Wike will be receiving the sum of N78,953,067,518.29, as reimbursement for fixing federal roads in the state, many have taken to social media to express their thoughts.
For instance, Tweeters especially within the budding #PHTwitterCommunity, have taken to the platform to express their opinions on what the governor can do with the funds.
Whereas @Abemum_OD thinks the governor should “Revamp the health sector“, @esor1_esor recommends Wike should “Complete monorail, continue building of greater PH. Build more amineties in Ahoada, Omoku, Eleme and other Satellite town so as to decongest PH“. Other suggestions include more investment in the Education sector and human capital development.
We have attached a few of these tweets below. You can also tell Elanhub in the comment section what you think the governor should do with N78bn.
We have 23 LGA. Hold a town hall with each LGA and find out very critical projects worth one billion for each LGA, then focus on good infrastructural development in pH with the remaining funds in order to dicongest pH.
