Victims of the Polo Club stampede in Port Harcourt, has called on the Government and Kings Assembly to assist them in burying their loved ones.
They made the plea in a chat with journalists while receiving relief materials from the Federal Government through the National Emergency Management Agency on Thursday.
They commended the Federal Government for the gesture, but called for financial assistance.
Meanwhile, the South South Zonal coordinator of NEMA, Godwin Tepikor said the relief materials were distributed to over 40 families affected by the incident.
He noted that the National Coordinator of NEMA, had visited the state to condole with the state government and the affected families.
