The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) expressed grave concerns over the deteriorating economic and security situation in the country. The BoT attributed the crisis to what it described as “ill-conceived and ill-implemented” policies by the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
During its 79th meeting on Wednesday, the BoT decried the government’s insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians, citing multiple taxes and rising costs of fuel, electricity, and telecommunications.
It called on the APC to rescind its anti-people policies and take immediate steps to stimulate the economy and create jobs.
