The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State has denied reports claiming that a governorship candidate has emerged from the party’s primary election in the state.
In a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Chizi Enyi, the ADC described reports alleging the emergence of Hon. Farah Dagogo as the party’s governorship candidate as false and misleading.
Enyi stated that the collation of results from the party’s governorship primaries is still ongoing, stressing that no official declaration has been made by the party.
He urged party members, supporters, and the general public to remain calm and disregard unconfirmed reports circulating on social media and other platforms until the official announcement of the primary election results is made by the party.
