These are not the best of times for Nigerian Music Star, Dbanj who has been accused of rape by one Seyitan Babatayo. The lady called out the super star for raping her in 2018, few days ago on her Instagram Page.
The singer had come out to deny the claim slamming the lady with a N100m court case plus a public apology demand. It was also rumoured that he arrested the lady, which made her drop the case against him.
The act which generated reactions online saw social media users slam the singer for intimidating his accuser, Miss Seyitan who has since denied being arrested by the singer.
The case took a new twist Today as the IGP Mohammed Adamu ordered full investigation into the matter to the excitement of some Nigerians, who had called for the case to be investigated. According to reports, the singer offered Seyitan some money in 2018, to spend the night with him, which she rejected but he later surprisingly showed up in her room around 2am where he raped her.
Meanwhile, there is an ongoing petition by E.Popoola on change.org which has already been signed by close to 15,000 persons calling for the United Nations and other organisations to strip D’Banj of his endorsement and ambassadorial deals.
