Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has awarded immediate scholarships to members of Team Rivers after they emerged champions of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Inter-Senior Secondary Schools Debate Championship.
The competition, hosted by the Rivers State Government in Port Harcourt, featured teams from various states in a keenly contested debate.
Team Rivers clinched first place, while Team Kwara and Team Sokoto emerged second and third, respectively.
In recognition of their outstanding performance and achievement, Governor Fubara announced immediate scholarships for the Rivers students, commending them for making the state proud.
