The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of candidates cleared to contest the upcoming Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The Commission, in a public notice, said the publication was carried out in accordance with Section 32(1) of the Electoral Act.
INEC said the list contains the names and personal particulars of candidates fielded by all registered political parties for the elections.
According to the Commission, members of the public, political parties, candidates and other electoral stakeholders can now inspect the final list.
The list is available for public viewing on INEC notice boards across the states, while the full document can also be accessed and downloaded through the Commission’s official website.
INEC urged interested members of the public to verify the details of candidates through the official channels.
