The Nigeria Police Force in a bid to deepen transparancy and accountability in the operations of FSARS & other Tactical Squads, has released series of numbers and social media handles for members of the public to report human rights abuses and illegal activities by the officers.
The Force made the numbers and social media handles known on its official Twitter page yesterday.
This was following complaints by members of the public over the inhumane acts by the officers of FSARS, birthing the online #EndSARS! #EndPoliceBrutality protest.
The IGP has now responded by banning the squad from routine patrols, checkpoints, roadblocks, traffic checks amongst others.
