MEDITATION SCRIPTURE: “And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship (Exo. 31:3).
READ: EX.31:1-6
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: 3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, 5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. 6 And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;
Every human being on earth is here on divine assignment. Fulfillment in life comes the moment you discover your assignment and cue into it. In all human economy and establishments, all men do not have the same level of assignment and relevance that is why you should not measure your success by the success of others. In the same vein, in divine economy, we are called and chosen differently to fulfill God’s agenda. In the wilderness, when the people of God were to begin the building of the Tabernacle, God chose two young men named Bazaleel and Aholiab and fulfilled them with the spirit of wisdom to carve and form all the fittings of the Tabernacle. This assignment was specifically given to these two young men.
Their joy and fulfillment in life was completely attached to their ability to fulfill this divine mandate. Child of God, you are not a push-over on planet Earth. Even if your biological parents claim they didn’t plan your coming, you are actually here because you are important in divine economy. Discover yourself and work hard to fulfill your purpose. You may not be as famous as that movie star that does not reduce your relevance in God’s economy.
Though Bazaleel and Aholiab were named in the building of the Tabernacle, yet there were women who spinned the wools and the linen clothes used in the decorations. Everyone is important, just find your place. You may be that small helm that controls the movement of the great ship.
TURNING POINT: Everyone is important, just find your place.
PRAYER POINT: Father, help me to find my place so that I can fit into it.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: NEH.7,8; ACTS.3
