The Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Chief Chima Boniface Njoku, has reportedly donated N2 million to assist Mrs. Eberechi Adaeze Hope, who was reportedly stranded in Libya and seeking help to return to Nigeria.
A video showing Mrs. Eberechi’s situation went viral on social media last week, drawing public attention to her plight.
In a subsequent video, Njoku announced the N2 million donation to assist with the cost of her flight ticket and facilitate her safe return to Nigeria.
Beyond the financial assistance, the council chairman also pledged to provide Mrs. Eberechi, a single mother, with the necessary support to care for and provide for her children upon her return.
