Veteran Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo has called on the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu, to honourably resign or be sacked with immediate effective due to the heinous crimes perpetrated by officers of the disbanded SARS unit.

Hilda who made the call during a protest by mothers calling for an end to police brutality yesterday in Port Harcourt, said the IGP has failed Nigerians.

She said if the IGP did not fail in his primary assignment Nigerians would not have had a Police unit that failed. She also said the main reason why the IGP and the Police force keeps failing is because the “constitution is a template for impunity.”

She called on the government to heed to the demands of Nigerians so as to make the country a better place.

Hilda commended Nigerian youths for their efforts in demanding for a great nation.
