The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers state, Chidi Lloyd has vowed to arrest one Gift Ajeru who was declared wanted for being behind violence rocking Ndele community.
Lloyd in a statement yesterday, accused Ajeru of being behind gang wars and illegal oil refining in the area.
According to him, normalcy will not return to the area until the suspect is arrested, and urged the military to ensure his arrest.
He also denied claims by the suspect that he is being wanted for failing to help him(Lloyd) in arresting a notorious cultist after he contacted him(Ajeru), adding that no such thing happened as he is not a security personnel.
Lloyd also alleged that some traditional rulers in the area are sponsoring Ajeru, and vowed to name and shame such persons at the appropriate time.
