Rivers state recorded 7 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 13,076 with 12,799 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Tueday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 385 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -116, Delta-115, Akwa Ibom-41, Ogun-33, Cross River-23, Edo-23, Kaduna-10, Rivers-7, Plateau-5, Bayelsa-5, Oyo-5 and Kano-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 217,866 with 210,076 discharged and 2,983 deaths.
The NCDC, says it is doing everything within its power to prevent a third wave of the virus.
