Rivers State recorded 6 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 6,942 with 6,823 discharged and 100 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19
In total, Nigeria recorded 135 new Cases. Kwara recorded the highest number with – 37, Lagos-32, Ondo-23, Nasarawa-13, FCT-9, Kaduna-7, Rivers-6, Osun-3, Delta-2, Edo-2 and Borno-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 163,330 with 152,045 recovered patients, and 2,058 deaths.
Meanwhile, the agency has advised residents to continue obeying all COVID-19 protocols.
