The lawsuit seeking the disqualification of Sen. Magnus Abe as the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, has been adjourned to Thursday, January 26 2023.
The case was adjourned Today, after the plaintiff informed the presiding Judge, E.O. Obile of the absence of her lawyer, Achinike Wododo, after the case was mentioned in court.
The plaintiff, Atasie Ntene a member of the party in Andoni LGA, is seeking the disqualification of Abe on grounds that he contested both the primaries of the All Progressives Congress and Social Democratic Party.
Abe, had contested the primaries of the APC where he lost and later decamped to the SDP to clinch the party’s flag.
