The Rivers State Government says appointment letters would soon be issued to successful applicants of the ten thousand civil service jobs.
Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission, Ndu Walter disclosed this in a statement.
According to him, the process was transparent and that successful candidates would begin work in no time.
The recruitment exercise was initiated by former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike.
Gov. Sim Fubara had in a statement vowed to follow through with the exercise. He said the recruitment was a deliberate policy of the Rivers government to ensure employment for the teeming Rivers youths.
