The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Hon. Chidi Lloyd has accused Police officers of aiding criminals in the area.
Lloyd, who made this known when he appeared on NigrInfo Morning Crossfire said it is shocking that Police officers serve as informant to criminals.
According to him, they have complained to the Police Authorities and investigation is ongoing on the matter.
The Council Boss stated that his administration is committed to clampdown on criminals in the area without compromise.
He warned motorcycle operators against flouting the ban on their operations, adding that anyone caught would be treated as an informant.
Lloyd added that the last time the ban was placed, crime and criminality reduced in the area.
