Ghanaian singer Captan has alleged that fellow artiste Shatta Wale once helped Nigerian singer Burna Boy after he was reportedly arrested in Ghana over alleged marijuana use.
Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Captan claimed that Shatta Wale instructed him and some others to secure Burna Boy’s release from police custody.
He further alleged that Shatta Wale and his associates once sheltered Burna Boy when he was allegedly being pursued by dangerous individuals.
According to Captan, “I once bailed Burna Boy out of prison in Ghana when he was arrested for smoking weed. Shatta Wale sent me and some guys to go and free him from police custody.
“There was a time we also accommodated him when some people were after his life. We helped him settle the case.”
