The Bonny Local Government Council has installed CCTV security cameras across Water Well Community to strengthen surveillance and enhance the security of lives and property in the area.
The cameras, installed from Well 1 to Well 12, are expected to improve monitoring, deter criminal activities and support efforts to maintain security within the community.
The Council Chairman, Amasenibo Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, DSSRS, said the initiative was part of the council’s efforts to further strengthen the security architecture of Bonny Local Government Area.
The council, through its Office of Media and Communications, noted that while security is a collective responsibility, leadership must take the initiative in providing measures that protect residents and their property.
