The All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, says former President, Goodluck Jonathan is not yet a member of the party.
chairman of the party in the state, Dennis Otiotio said this in a telephone chat with The PUNCH in reaction to a report that the former president joined the party in his Ward, yesterday.
He described Jonathan as a “big fish”, adding that he could only join the APC if the national chairman of the party, Adamu Abdullahi had granted him a waiver.
“I think the person you people should be asking the question is the national chairman of the party. He should be the one to grant him (Jonathan) waiver,” he said.
“As of now, he has not officially joined our party. Ask the national chairman if he has granted him a waiver,” he added.
