Former Minister of Transportation and ex-Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, on Thursday formally submitted his presidential nomination form at the national secretariat of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abuja ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The submission marks a key development in the party’s ongoing presidential race, as the ADC continues preparations and internal processes ahead of the general elections.
Amaechi in a statement shortly after submitting the form said, “I have officially submitted My Presidential nomination form at the ADC national secretariat, marking another significant step ahead of the party primaries and the journey toward 2027.”
Party stakeholders and supporters were present at the secretariat during the exercise, which drew attention from across the political landscape.
