Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe has called on people of the state to give him their votes, adding that of all governorship candidates for next year’s election no one has contributed more to the state than him.
Abe disclosed this when he met with the Ogoni community in Ogbunabali in Port Harcourt few days ago.
He urged people of the state to elect credible leaders who have what it takes to transform the state.
Part of his statement reads,
So, of all of us that are contesting, when it comes to the history of Rivers State, nobody has contributed better and therefore the vote of merit, give it to me.
In the history of Rivers State, I am the only Commissioner for Information that has been voted the best in the history of Rivers State. I have served this state as Secretary to the Government.
I have served this state as minority leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly. I was voted the best legislator of that era. I have served this state as Commissioner for Information.
