The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to display the National Register of Voters for public scrutiny across all Registration Areas nationwide as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The exercise is scheduled to run from Friday, October 9 to Thursday, October 15, 2026, allowing registered voters to verify their details and raise any necessary concerns.
INEC said voters who registered, requested transfers or applied for replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) during the first phase will also have their cards available for collection.
The Commission added that uncollected PVCs from previous voter registration exercises will equally be available for collection.
INEC urged eligible voters not to wait until Election Day to confirm their registration status or collect their PVCs, stressing the importance of taking the necessary steps ahead of the 2027 elections.
