Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has promised to build a skills acquisition centre for the Police Officers Wives Association, POWA.
The Governor, disclosed this when the association led by Wife of the Inspector General of Police, Hajara Usman Akali paid him a courtesy visit at Government House Port Harcourt.
Wike, who commended the IGP Usman Akali for improving security in the state also pledged to support the Association with a grant of N50 million.
President of POWA, Hajia Usman Akali who was in the state to flag-off some programmes by the association, commended the State Governor for the kind gesture.
