Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike says the Law School about to be constructed in the state would directly and indirectly provide employement for people of the state.
Wike, who made this known when the Council of Legal Education paid him a visit to deliver the letter of approval, said the school will be sited at Rumueme in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the State.
He stated that corporate Organizations have already started approaching the government for partnership and investment.
The governor, who explained that work have commenced, promised to deliver the project within six months.
“The six months that we have given is not six years. Six months is six months. Even if any other project will be suspended, let it be suspended. This project must be finished within six months. And I also urged you to appoint a Deputy DG who should move down to Port Harcourt immediately,” he said.
He commended the Council for the approval, adding that his administration is committed to bettering the lives of Rivers people and Nigerians.
