Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has reacted to the statement by current Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi that he(Wike), was his employee when he held sway as Governor of the state.
Amaechi had in a statement, few days ago said he cannot bring himself low to discuss Wike, because he once employed him as Chief of Staff.
Reacting to Amaechi’s claim during a TV interview yesterday, Wike said God singlehandedly used him to make Amaechi Governor in 2015.
The Governor, said he does not regret supporting Amaechi then, as he had no choice because they were both in the same party.
He stated that Amaechi once said on tape that after God, it was him due to the role he played in making him Governor of the state.
In addition, Wike said it is a shame that Amaechi lost the 2015 and 2019 tussle to who he claimed was his employee.
