Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has ordered the immediate closure of the Secretariat of the dissolved Ad-hoc Committee on the Sale of Federal Government Houses.
The directive was announced on Wednesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
Wike also approved the creation of a division within the Department of Land Administration to handle the sale of Federal Government Houses in the FCT.
The FCT Administration urged the public to direct all related enquiries to the department and warned against fraudsters posing as members or officials of the dissolved committee.
