Spokesperson of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Solomon Lenu has called on those angry by the actions of Governor, Nyesom Wike in Saturday’s presidential election to sign the petition calling for his Visa to be withdrawn.
Lenu in a statement Today, said people should not just sit down and complain but, do something as it is patriotic to do so.
He also urged Rivers people not to be scared in signing the petition as nobody can see who signed
“IF YOU ARE ANGRY BY WIKE’S ACTION IN THIS ELECTION, SIGN THIS PETITION SO HIS VISAS CAN BE WITHDRAWN BY US, UK & CANADA,” he said.
“Don’t just sit down to complain, do something. Take an action for it is patriotic to do so. We must save our future from these kinds of leaders,” he added.
Gov. Wike had been accused of rigging saturday’s elections in favour of the APC in the state, and also sponsored attacks against the opposition in Rivers.
