Unknown gunmen on tuesday, abducted three passengers along the Degema/Abonnema Road in Rivers State.
Driver of the passenger bus disclosed this to journalists in a statement yesterday.
According to him, the incident occurred close to a military checkpoint along the road, adding that he managed to escaped.
It was gathered that the bus was heading to Abonnema from Port Harcourt.
However, drivers have threatened to stop plying the Degema/Abonnema Road if nothing was done to ensure their safety.
They called on the relevant agencies to ensure the safety of lives and properties along the road.
